Croí, the Heart & Stroke Charity, is a not-for-profit Irish charity dedicated to the fight against heart disease and stroke. Due to the continued expansion of our health programmes and support services for those living with, or affected by, heart disease and stroke, we need to expand our revenue generation and operations team with the appointment of a Head of Foundation / Chief Operations Officer.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Head of Foundation / COO is a key member of the Croí management team and is charged with the dual responsibility of managing all revenue generation activities (commercial and philanthropic) in line with budget and strategic planning, as well as managing the everyday operations of the Foundation.
- The ideal candidate is likely to have a proven sales and marketing background with demonstrated capability in generating revenue and successfully building sustainable and mutually beneficial funding relationships.
- He/she must be capable of growing existing revenue streams and developing new, innovative and sustainable income lines.
- Equally, he/she should have experience in leading teams and motivating employees in a continuous improvement environment.
- A key part of the role is the further development and strengthening of the Croí brand through marketing and communications, utilising traditional and new media.
The successful candidate must have a relevant third-level qualification, with a minimum of 5 years senior management experience with responsibility for managing a team, preferably in a similar environment. This is a full time, permanent position and an attractive package commensurate with experience will be offered to the successful candidate.
