Description
The Rutland Centre DAC is a leading addiction treatment centre in Ireland. We are a residential and outpatient addiction treatment centre based in Knocklyon, South Dublin. A registered charity we have been in operation for 45 years.
Our Mission is to help individuals and families to recover from addiction through the provision of treatment services and supports. We also work to advance awareness, education, and advocacy in relation to addiction. In 2022 our completion rates were 90% and of those who completed 75% progressed into our aftercare program. 67% of these individuals at the time of asking are currently engaged and active in their recovery or have completed the program.
We are currently seeking a Finance & Governance Executive to work as part of our multi-disciplinary senior management team. S/he will run the financial management function of the centre, as well as leading out on key areas of governance including corporate compliance with CRA, Company law, GDPR, Health and Safety etc.
This is a key role in a senior management position within the organisation. It requires leadership, flexibility and strong team working capabilities. The successful appointee will work within a small supportive executive management team.
What the Role involves
The role involves the delivery of financial services for the Rutland Centre. This requires a person with a strong track record and competency in financial management. The successful candidate will also work alongside the External Accountant and CEO in reporting on financial projections, targets and performance.
In addition, s/he will undertake wider governance responsibilities in relation to statutory compliance across the entire organisation. This requires wider organisational skills in relation to good governance practices, particularly in relation to compliance with various statutory bodies including CRA, Revenue, Companies etc .
This is an ideal role for an experienced finance manager who wishes to step up into a senior management role with a broader remit which includes wider, senior corporate responsibilities.
Contract Type:
Full Time Permanent Post- 40 hours per week inc lunch. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9-5pm. Time-off-in-lieu will be provided in respect of working outside these hours. Hybrid working is also available, subject to the requirements of the service.
Reporting Structure:
Leading a small finance function team, the appointee will report directly to the CEO
Salary: €70k per annum
