About Anam Cara

Anam Cara Parent Bereavement understands we don’t live in an ideal world, we live in a world where children have died before their time. The organisation was set up in 2008 by a group of bereaved parents who following the death of their children realised there was a large gap in services available to support them through their grief and loss. They offer peer to peer monthly support groups in 14 locations in Ireland, online monthly support groups, bereavement information evenings, family remembrance days and frontline professional training.

‘Their mission is to reduce isolation for bereaved parents affected by the death of their child by providing easy accessible, quality services, free of charge’

About the Role

Anam Cara is now seeking to recruit a creative ambitious and compassionate Community Fundraising and Grants Manager to work directly with corporate, individual and community partners to build fundraising capacity for the organisation.

They will develop corporate partnerships, manage and build on grant applications, work with the community and key stakeholders to deliver fundraising events and other initiatives to build fundraising capacity for Anam Cara.
