Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA), a progressive independent person centred organisation providing services for people with limited mobility nationally is now seeking applications for:
National Fundraising Manager (full-time, permanent)
As National Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for leading the IWA fundraising team to achieve exciting fundraising targets within the Commercial Directorate of Irish Wheelchair Association. The National Fundraising Manager will be responsible for developing a coherent, future focused fundraising strategy, managing and developing a team of seven fundraisers and helping to achieve the goals of the IWA’s Commercial Directorate which includes Retail, Advocacy, Sales & Marketing and Communications.
This is an exciting and demanding new role within a progressive social enterprise. It will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to shape the future of fundraising at this exciting time in the organisation’s development.
Successful candidate will have at least five years senior fundraising experience; strong experience with national fundraising campaigns and track record of innovation in fundraising.
You will be an excellent communicator who can influence and encourage colleagues in a fast moving environment and possess proven ability to build external relationships. You will have good understanding of the Irish fundraising landscape and be a results driven energetic self-starter with a passion for going above and beyond.
Salary commensurate with experience
